Die Objektivierung des Auges

From May 3rd until June 2nd, 2013 the ERZ will host the exhibition „Die Objektivierung des Auges – Aspekte fotografischer Dokumentation am Beispiel des Merseburger Doms“ in Merseburg. Five master degree students will present architecture photographs of the late 19th and early 20th century.

These photographs had been preserved and taken by the Royal Prussian survey photography institute, the Franz Stoedtner - archives, by the Prof. Dr. Heinrich Nickel - Archive as well the famous photographical archive "Foto Marburg". All depicitons will exemplarily focus on the cathedral of Merseburg.

 

Accompanying programme

The vernissage will take place on Friday, May 3rd 2013 at the ERZ's lecture hall  at 6pm.

Presentations by the curators will be offered on May, 7th and 26th between 3 and 4 pm.

On May 12th 2013 Ilja Claus and Jan Blümel will give a lecture on the topic „Das Kugelpanorama – Die Zukunft der Architekturfotografie“  (bowl panoramic pictures).
